Walking in SookeJust twenty minutes from your suite you will discover the charming Town of Sooke, population 12,000, where you will have many opportunities to buy groceries, pick up a movie rental, bank, see a doctor, eat out at coffee shops, bakeries, fast food or fine dining restaurants. There are also gyms, a swimming pool and a number of great places to walk. The two large grocery stores are open 7 days a week 13- 14 hours per day for your convenience.

Whiffen Spit ParkIn Sooke you will discover a number of very enjoyable walks with great ocean and mountain vistas. For a short easy stroll you may want to use the town's new boardwalk from Ed Macgregor Park, Whiffin Spit Park is a great place to walk your dog, go for a jog or sit on one of the many benches and enjoy the views of Sooke Harbour and the Olympic Mountains on the far side of the Strait of Juan de Fuca.

Directions by Car
To go to Sooke from the suite head back to the junction of East Sooke Road and Gillespie Road and take Gillespie to Sooke Road where you will head left to Sooke, Sooke Potholes, Gordon's Beach, French Beach, China Beach, Sombreo Beach, Botenanical Beach and Port Renfrew.
